There are so many grandparent nicknames. I can see why someone wouldn't want to be called the same thing that there mother is called, so they mix it up a bit. Sometimes a lot. LoL. One of my most popular names, in terms of sales, is Gigi. I don't know anyone who is called Gigi by her grandkids but apparently a lot of people are. I think it's cool sounding. I also like Grammy. That means Christmas will soon be here. My Dad indicated yesterday that he really would like a cap that said "Granddad" on it, so I may get him that this year. The problem is, I have about 5 ideas for my Dad this year and no ideas at all for my mom. I may get her some kind of organizer/cabinet/shelf or something for her spare bedroom/storage room. She definitely needs that, but can I afford it? Hmm? Probably not.

Grandparents can be so difficult to buy for. My grandparents have passed away at this point, but my parents are grandparents to my kids, so I'm around grandparents a lot. My mom is difficult because she doesn't want anything to set around the house and nothing to hang on the walls. She doesn't wear jewelry and she's very picky about her clothes. However, she does like sweatshirts and t-shirts. My kids have always called her grandma, so it's been easy to get her shirts that say grandma, just about any store has them. But for my Dad, who is called Granddaddy by the kids and my husband's parents who are called Popaw and Mamaw, its been very difficult to find anything. That's why I created this store. This year, Mamaw and Popaw and Granddaddy are probably going to get a gift from my store. I have all kinds of names for grandparents. Look and see if we have yours!
